How this generator works

This tool creates passwords using your browser's built-in secure random number generator, entirely on your device. Nothing you generate is sent anywhere or stored — refreshing the page clears it completely.

Choose a length and character types, then generate. For most accounts, a length of 16 or more with all character types enabled gives strong protection against common cracking methods.

Tips for using generated passwords

Use a different password for every account, and store them in a password manager rather than reusing or memorizing them. A long, random password is far harder to guess or crack than a short one with substituted letters and numbers, even if it looks more complex.
